How amazing would it be to wake up to a new profession each day?
I WOULD LITERALLY DIE FOR IT!
The very first profession most of us have seen is teaching. Thanks to all the amazing teachers for molding us into what we are today. That sincerity and enthusiasm to spread knowledge was what made me classify teaching as a noble profession. And the dream to be a teacher did come true in my Class X for Teachers' day where we dressed up as our favorite teacher for a day.
And that was when I decided to be a TEACHER!
Then I was brought into the amazing world of food (via the not-so-idioty idiot box XD), And bam, I wanted to be something foody. I spent a googol number of hours drooling over that amazing amazing food. (Yeah, googol for sounding fancy!)
And that was when I decided to be a CHEF!
And that was also when I decided to be a JUDGE on those shows!
And that was also when I decided to be a FOOD BLOGGER!
And recently FOOD TASTER has been added to the list! *Drumroll*
SCENE : Enter Engineering * I was entering engineering *
The 4 years flew by in a blink, yet I had a zillion professions to take up after engineering in my head. Initially, just like every other engineer, I wanted to be a engineer with a steady job and a can-shop-without-looking-at-the-price-tag income. But then someone knocked my door, I changed my mind. Let me build up the suspense.....so....so....so....*insert suspense background score*.....*insert intense suspense background score*. I'll burst it for you, it was a pizza delivery boy! And you guessed it right, I even wanted to be him! To me, he delivers "Happiness", not only pizza!
Thanks to internet for making my list a lot longer. I learnt about some I-REALLY-WANT-TO-BE-THIS professions like Panda nanny(I'm not crying, you're crying!) , getting paid for watching videos on youtube, travel jobs where you travel and get paid, and the list is long.
When I click a nice picture, I want to be a photographer;
When I listen to a TED talk, I want to be a entrepreneur;
When I write and people love it, I want to be a blogger;
When I sing, a singer;
dance, dancer;
drive, Uber driver...
Finally, enlightenment hit and I learnt about the thin line between passion and profession.
As rightly said, "Allow your passion to become your purpose, and it will one day become your profession."
Lumos!
Stay sparkly!
